Uffizi tickets and passes
Uffizi Gallery tickets come three ways here: a guided tour at $84, a pass for the Uffizi, the Pitti Palace and the Boboli Gardens at $75, and a wider 5-day pass at $66, all per person. Below: what each price covers, how long it is valid, and which one you can cancel.

Quick answer
The short answer. If the Uffizi is the one museum on your list, book the guided tour at $84 per person: 1.5 hours with a live guide, rated 4.6 from 6,123 reviews, and the only one of the three with free cancellation listed. If you also want the Pitti Palace and the Boboli Gardens, the 5-day pass at $66 per person costs less than the three-site pass and covers more. Both passes are non-refundable.
Three tickets, side by side
Prices are per person, read off the live listings. Check the last column before you pay: two of the three cannot be refunded.

The guided tour
Of the Uffizi Gallery tickets on this page, this is the one with a person who knows the rooms.
At $84 per person, the guided tour is the most reviewed way in: 6,123 reviews at 4.6. You meet your guide in front of the Guido Aretino statue on Piazzale degli Uffizi, go in with a pre-booked, timed ticket through the priority entrance, and spend 1.5 hours in the Renaissance rooms.
The guide takes you through masterpieces by Botticelli, Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, Botticelli’s Birth of Venus among them, in a collection that runs from the 12th to the 17th century. When the tour ends, step out onto the terrace for a panoramic view over Florence.
Three sites, one ticket
A combo ticket: one timed Uffizi visit, then five days for the rest.
For $75 per person, rated 4.4 from 1,902 reviews, you get the Uffizi plus the Pitti Palace and the Boboli Gardens. Only the Uffizi has a date and time. After that visit you have five days for the other two, whenever they are open.
In the Uffizi, look for Botticelli’s Birth of Venus and Caravaggio’s Medusa, and the ancient Roman statues along the corridors. Across the river, the Palatine Gallery in the Pitti Palace holds works by Caravaggio, Rubens and Titian, and the Boboli Gardens give a sense of the power the Medici family enjoyed.
The Uffizi, Pitti and Boboli pass: $75 per person, non-refundable.

The lowest price of the three, and the most sites.
At $66 per person, rated 4.4 from 873 reviews, this pass starts with a timed Uffizi entry on the date you choose. That entry switches it on, and you then have five consecutive days for the rest, with no fixed entry times.
The plan gives the Uffizi 3 hours: 96 rooms, Botticelli’s Birth of Venus and Primavera, and a terrace café over Piazza della Signoria. Then cross the Arno to the Pitti Palace, once home to the Medici, Lorraine and Savoy families.
The Uffizi, Pitti, Boboli and 4 more pass: $66 per person, non-refundable.

Four sights these tickets open.
A Madonna and Child with angels in a carved gold frame, the kind of work that fills the Uffizi.
Home of the Palatine Gallery. Both passes include it; the guided tour does not.
A hedged avenue runs down to the palace lawn. On both passes.
The Ponte Vecchio at dusk. The river lies between the Uffizi and the Pitti Palace.
Before you book
Timed entry is strict at the Uffizi. Every line below comes from the three listings.
On both passes, Uffizi entry is valid only on the date and time slot you booked. On the three-site pass, a missed slot can also cost you the other sites.
The three-site pass wants you with its hosts 15 minutes before your slot. The wider pass has no voucher exchange: go to Uffizi entrance 1 just 10 minutes ahead, with the emailed ticket and an ID card or passport.
The guided tour and the three-site pass both warn that in busy seasons the security check can still mean a wait.
The wider pass says its museums, except the Boboli Gardens, are closed on Monday. Plan your five days around that.
On the wider pass, the Royal Apartments in the Pitti Palace need a reservation, made in person once you are inside.
Both passes are non-refundable. The guided tour lists free cancellation, but its description says the tickets can’t be cancelled: check the terms.
Not on these tickets
Uffizi Gallery tickets cover the Uffizi and, with a pass, the Pitti side of the river.
None of the three is a Uffizi Gallery and Accademia tour. Michelangelo’s David stands in the Accademia Gallery, which is not on either pass’s list of sites and not on the guided tour. For timed entry and guides there, see our Accademia and David guide; for the cathedral, see our Duomo and dome guide.
Our verdict

Staying a few days? The wider pass at $66 per person covers the Uffizi, the Pitti Palace with its galleries and the Boboli Gardens. Pick your date with care: it is non-refundable.

Pair it with a day trip
Our top pick is the Cinque Terre and Pisa trip: $100 per person for 12 to 12.5 hours, by train between the coastal villages and then on to the Leaning Tower. The most reviewed trip on the site is Pisa, Siena and San Gimignano, at $55 per person with 11,897 reviews. Compare all twelve in our list of trips.
Common questions
Per person, the guided tour is $84, the Uffizi, Pitti and Boboli pass $75, and the wider 5-day pass $66. Those are the listing prices. For children, check the price on the listing before you book.
Not the passes: both are non-refundable. The guided tour lists free cancellation, but its description also says its tickets cannot be cancelled or rescheduled, so read the terms when you book. On the three-site pass, losing the ticket after the Uffizi means no refund either.
The guided tour lasts 1.5 hours. The wider pass plans 3 hours for the Uffizi alone, then 45 minutes in the Palatine Gallery, 30 in the Gallery of Modern Art, 20 in the Treasury of the Grand Dukes and 1.5 hours in the Boboli Gardens.
Both passes do, and you have five days after your Uffizi visit to use them. The guided tour covers the Uffizi only.
The wider pass says its museums, the Uffizi included, are closed on Monday, and only the Boboli Gardens stay open. Pick another day for your timed Uffizi entry.
